Mount Canobolas

We decided to return via Mount Canobolas which is near Orange. As we climbed, the mountain met the clouds, so whatever view there is from the summit we couldn't see it. Communications towers came in and out of sight as the mist swirled around.

  1. Too bad you had no views. We have those towers all over the place as well. They are a bit of an eye sore.

  2. Now Mount Canobalas is a name that swims to me out of my childhood. Can never really work out why. Think we may have taken weekend trips out that way.

  3. Fog always creates such soft images. Even the towers look interesting, must be the shroud effect.

The end

I retire from the workforce this week and to celebrate have decided to retire my current blogs and start afresh with a single consolidated blog - My Bright Field - to record the delights of my new life adventure.
If you are interested follow me over there.  I will still be Sweet Wayfaring and collecting Royal Hotels.  The delights I discover along the way will appear together with my gardens and towns where I live.
