Roadside grass

When I stop to take a photo I've always got my eye out for interesting roadside grass, seeds and flowers.

  1. They look like feathers from this angle!

  2. Lovely :) Looks like the type of photo I'd find in a book illustrating a poem. A very poetic picture :)

  3. I share your affection for grass. Susan thinks it is curious that I like to take photos of dead grass. To each his own.

  4. Not your usual stuff, nevertheless very nice. I like the dof - this photo says AUTUMN to me. Somehow quiet and peaceful.

  5. Oh yes, very feathery and nicely highlighted against the dark background.

The end

I retire from the workforce this week and to celebrate have decided to retire my current blogs and start afresh with a single consolidated blog - My Bright Field - to record the delights of my new life adventure.
If you are interested follow me over there.  I will still be Sweet Wayfaring and collecting Royal Hotels.  The delights I discover along the way will appear together with my gardens and towns where I live.
