Reflection


We have been to the beach a number of times recently, each time to our favourite camping spot in Kiama. These trips were not so much about wayfaring, more about rest and reflection in the warm sun.

I do hope you will enjoy the rest and tranquility with me.

    Kiama, hah, I had it in mind to go there on Monday but instead went baby-shopping.

    Kiama is my next $2.50 journey, though.

Larras Lee

We passed through Bakers Swamp without noticing anything.  Then reached our last dot on the map for this trip - Larras Lee and saw this.  The roadside monument says: In Memory of  WILLIAM LEE  (1794 - 1870)  of "Larras Lake"  a pioneer of the sheep  and cattle industry  and first member for  Roxburgh under responsible  government (1856 - 1859).  This stone was erected  by his descendants.  --- 1938 --- This is a repost from a few days ago. William was born of convict parents, living his childhood years around the Sydney region.
