Sweet Wayfaring

Soon we see the drive is winding along with a river. We have been passing through Goulburn River National Park on the left and Wollemi National Park on the right.  I have previously shown photos in the Goulburn River National Park entering from the Mudgee side.

We took a drive out to Goulburn River National Park. Most of the country is familiar but I was surprised at these thin pines which were popping up everywhere among the eucalypts ... I'm assuming they are native, there were so many of them.

At Denman the Goulburn River meets the Hunter River.  We are now in the famed Hunter River Valley .. the Upper Hunter at this point.

The river itself was a bit ordinary, at least the bit we saw, but I quite like this shot.

I always think grass is pretty.
