A display of vintage pumps reminded me of going to the big Brisbane show (the Ekka) with my family. My Dad would make a beeline to the rural equipment where we kids got very bored. The only interesting things were the pumps squirting blue and green water into a tank.
Tumbleweed It was August (known to be a windy month of the year) and it was blowing a gale. Tumbleweeds hurtled across our path, pressed forward by the busy wind. While I was photographing the tumbleweed, I braved the icy blast to find a few more tiny flowers and fruits by the roadside.
I used to like climbing over the machinery.
