Monte Cristo is a late Victorian mansion built by Christopher Crawley a local landowner and hotelier who did very well out of the arrival of the railway. Today it has been carefully restored by the Ryan family.
We arrived the same time as the Citroen club so also had the pleasure of looking at the beautifully restored vehicles. I'll show you more of the house in my next post. I am going to post daily for a while.
