I was as smitten by the coastal vegetation as the views.  But first a few sea shots then some of the wildflowers.

    I bigged it up for a good look.

    1. Those "clouds" of dotty shubs were truly magic.

  2. It's amazing how plants can thrive in such rugged places.

    1. Yes it is amazing. I am always impressed by seaside heath country with its tenacious windswept plants.

We were having a coffee at the bakery and I noticed a sign on a hotel saying it was a Cobb and Co coach stop.  That got me wondering if there was a hidden Royal Hotel in the town.  A quick google revealed not that hotel but this derelict one as the former Royal.
