Our last night

This was the view from the window on the last evening in our little caravan home.  We're at Mudgee and very lucky to get a spot.  It was the weekend of the small farm field days which we had forgotten about until we discovered the first caravan park was full.  It would have been a quagmire out at the event because rain was beating down.

  1. You were lucky to get a spot to park. We arrived in Sapphire when there was a gem festival that we didn't know about and all accommodation was booked. We always check to see if there is a festival or event where we want to stay.

    1. We are too freewheeling (or is that disorganised) to book ahead.

We were having a coffee at the bakery and I noticed a sign on a hotel saying it was a Cobb and Co coach stop.  That got me wondering if there was a hidden Royal Hotel in the town.  A quick google revealed not that hotel but this derelict one as the former Royal.
