This summer 4 of 10

In Rockley

I couldn't miss the opportunity to get some corrugated iron into the series. Summer flowers in a pretty town.

  1. Field flowers and pretty lavender against corrugated iron.... bravo!

  2. Like the grey and the lavender but I'm afraid its not rusty enough for my tastes.

  3. I thought this to be Lavender, but not so sure. Maybe it is a variation, but the flowers extend too far down the stems ..

I like the corrugations themselves, and the rusty downpipe. Very satisfying image.

The end

I retire from the workforce this week and to celebrate have decided to retire my current blogs and start afresh with a single consolidated blog - My Bright Field - to record the delights of my new life adventure.
If you are interested follow me over there.  I will still be Sweet Wayfaring and collecting Royal Hotels.  The delights I discover along the way will appear together with my gardens and towns where I live.
