Tea at the Loftus

There's something just right having afternoon tea in a old guest house.

  1. Hmm...a cup of tea.
    Where's my man-servant?

  2. Afternoon tea for me is one of the joys of travelling, especially during a stay in a guesthouse. Add a scone or two, and it's perfection!(That and marmalade for breakfast).

  3. Truth is I don't actually drink tea (or coffee) but my husband does and I enjoy having afternoon tea with him, preferably with scones, jam and cream.

    Welcome to this blog Pam.

The end

I retire from the workforce this week and to celebrate have decided to retire my current blogs and start afresh with a single consolidated blog - My Bright Field - to record the delights of my new life adventure.
If you are interested follow me over there.  I will still be Sweet Wayfaring and collecting Royal Hotels.  The delights I discover along the way will appear together with my gardens and towns where I live.
