Another Royal

Condoblin has a great little camping ground, the cheapest of the whole trip.  And the town has a Royal Hotel - one of the more ugly renditions on the theme.

Don't worry, there will be fewer as we go along because we are heading up to Queensland and they don't seem to have same history of a Royal Hotel in nearly every town, either that or they have all burnt down or fallen down.

  1. There is an expression, used in another context: 'you dont't look at the mantlepiece when stoking the fire'. Must send you that other one from Port Macquarie.

  2. Umm tiled walls and ugly airconditioners, but another one for the collection.

The end

I retire from the workforce this week and to celebrate have decided to retire my current blogs and start afresh with a single consolidated blog - My Bright Field - to record the delights of my new life adventure.
If you are interested follow me over there.  I will still be Sweet Wayfaring and collecting Royal Hotels.  The delights I discover along the way will appear together with my gardens and towns where I live.
