Tumbleweed It was August (known to be a windy month of the year) and it was blowing a gale. Tumbleweeds hurtled across our path, pressed forward by the busy wind. While I was photographing the tumbleweed, I braved the icy blast to find a few more tiny flowers and fruits by the roadside.
looks a good hideout for bushrangers
ReplyDeleteLove rocky 'islets' whether on water or land. The different shades of browns and greens are lovely.
ReplyDeleteRocky outcrops always add a lot of character to the land. Good homes for the little creatures and hardy plants.
ReplyDeleteJM, I had not thought of the rocks by the sea but I like that thought.
ReplyDeleteDiane, rocks say that to me too ever since I saw Thunderbolt's rock as a kid.
Susan, it amazes me not so much that trees find a foothold in a rock crevice but how they manage to grow there.
