More delights

There are rainforest walks with waterfalls and one with this magical curtain fig tree.  Blue crater lakes.  Small towns, one with a terrific 2nd hand bookshop where I stocked up on reading supplies and even a Royal Hotel! There seems to be no end to the delights of this beautiful region.

    1. I remember this fig from when I saw it as a kid but I found it quite astounding this time around. I guess I had forgotten how big it was.

    1. I loved it. Being higher than the coast and inland it has a nice climate but I am wondering how hot it gets in summer.

The end

I retire from the workforce this week and to celebrate have decided to retire my current blogs and start afresh with a single consolidated blog - My Bright Field - to record the delights of my new life adventure.
If you are interested follow me over there.  I will still be Sweet Wayfaring and collecting Royal Hotels.  The delights I discover along the way will appear together with my gardens and towns where I live.
