Wee Waa

The rather nice cotton town of Wee Waa was an essential stop, not just because it has a name that just makes me want to see it.  I knew it had a Royal Hotel … but it looks rather shut.

Cream buns at the local bakery with Queensland style mock cream instead of fresh cream which is usually used in NSW … yum.

  1. Please tell me you are joking! Yum ... mock cream!! They breed 'em different north of the border.

    1. No I am not joking. I love mock cream in a cream bun. I only ever eat them in Qld because I don't like the NSW variety.

The end

I retire from the workforce this week and to celebrate have decided to retire my current blogs and start afresh with a single consolidated blog - My Bright Field - to record the delights of my new life adventure.
If you are interested follow me over there.  I will still be Sweet Wayfaring and collecting Royal Hotels.  The delights I discover along the way will appear together with my gardens and towns where I live.
