We dropped into the cafe at the Tidbinbilla tracking station for lunch.  This and nearby Honeysuckle Creek played a part in the moon landing in the 1960s.


  1. An interesting place - quite imposing to drive up to it.

  2. This is amazing! I think I had the same feeling looking at the photo as the 'apes' did on the first scene of Kubrick's "2001: a Space Odyssey". :-)

  3. I loved visiting this spot - but we got attacked by wasps out on the verandah.
