It's only when the water table rises that the salt comes up to the top and causes trouble like this. I don't know if other countries have the similar problems.Joan Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16358008925558240778noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5139161043677921966.post-43163118712650279952010-02-13T22:54:14.157+11:002010-02-13T22:54:14.157+11:00Very interesting (and disturbing) - I have never h...Very interesting (and disturbing) - I have never heard of this before (i.e. rising water table fact).
It looks like snow in the first photo.Martinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04771625000856319335noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5139161043677921966.post-27804183955112552842010-02-12T22:56:51.926+11:002010-02-12T22:56:51.926+11:00Julie, sorry I've been AWOL with visitors. So, equilibrium is the aim, I gather. Equilibrium and regular flow?

I do not understand this. I need to read more. At least they've found some use for all the excess salt, although it's come too late, in my opinion.Winamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01065947445339036623noreply@blogger.com
