Is that a Coolibah tree beside the abandoned house? Every Australian knows about Coolibah trees because the bush ballad Waltzing Matilda is nigh on our unoffical national anthem but most of us live nowhere near the inland where they grow. Once a jolly swagman camped by a billabong, Under the shade of a Coolibah tree, And he sang as he watched and waited till his billy boiled, You'll come a Waltzing Matilda with me. Waltzing Matilda, Waltzing Matilda, You'll come a Waltzing Matilda with me, And he sang as he watched and waited till his billy boiled You'll come a Waltzing Matilda with me.

Red, I know and that is why I have a fascination with watching the dam levels and reporting the figures ... because it is a bit hard to tell how full it is other than the fact that there is still a "rim" around the edge.
ReplyDeleteMark, send to the email address in my profile and I will post it. We spent some our honeymoon at Jenolan too. Or if you are posting on your blog I will copy from there.
I can't get past that fence -it looks good.
